The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Being an Electrical Engineer, my job and residence has changed with the downturns in the economy. In 1971 I had to leave the Applied Research Lab at Penn State and moved to NBS in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Then in 1984 my wife lost her job, so we moved to Houston, TX. Here I worked as a Technician in the Physics Department at Rice University. Finally I survived long enough to retire in 2006, an economic peak, and now live in Silver City, New Mexico. My son graduated from Penn State as a Mechanical Engineer and, presently, works at the Lawrence Livermore Lab in California.
